French goat skin has become one of my favorite leathers for watch straps. It is casual in appearance for a dressed down look, yet exudes refined sophistication at the same time. These straps are made with goat skin from the tannery Alran in France which is regarded by many as the best goat skin for luxury goods in the world.
It is very durable, moisture resistant and is available in various colors. It will complement any type of wardrobe and work well with a wide range of watches, from smaller, dressier types to larger sports watches.
The lining is tan French calf skin which is also considered the finest available. It is anti-allergenic, moisture resistant and very comfortable on the wrist.
About my straps:
All of my straps are entirely handmade: hand-stitched, hand-shaped, hand-painted (edges and holes). Edges and holes are burnished and painted several times which result in an incomparable feel and look that exudes detail, refinement and luxury.
The straps listed are made to the same degree of quality and detailing as my bespoke straps.
One particular aspect of importance is the comfort and short break in time of all my straps due to the unique construction I use. Also, compared to other straps, my straps don‘t have sharp edges which can be abrasive and irritate the bottom of your wrist.
Stock vs Custom:
If the size you need is not listed, I will be happy to make a custom strap for you with the desired specs and detailing (an additional cost of $200.00 applies to custom orders).
Turnaround time for a custom is 4-6 weeks.
